Advanced Practice Clinician Inpatient

The primary responsibility of the Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be assessment and medical management of adult patients admitted to the adult medical-surgical units within the specified facility.
The NP will utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess patients and manage all aspects of care. He/she will communicate clinical issues to the physicians as appropriate, write orders according to standardized procedures/protocols, perform daily patient-care rounds, and facilitate arrangements for discharge/transfer. The NP will collaborate with the care team to coordinate and manage the process of patient care from the point of admission to the hospital, through discharge and hand-off to an outpatient care provider to ensure continuity of care where applicable.
1. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in State of Virginia, graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician
Assistant program.
2. Current ACLS certification.
3. Well-developed communication and influence skills.
4. Certification based on specialty area, or comparable acute inpatient experience of 2 years or greater.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
