Riverside Health System has an immediate career opportunity for a full-time Nurse Manager at The Gardens of Warwick Forest in Newport News, VA.

Works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities include work scheduling evaluating employee performance and managing employee relations.
In addition the nurse manager is responsible for the quality of work staff productivity team morale nursing unit budget physician collaboration and employee adherence to facility and departmental policies procedures and guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Clinically sophisticated, yet intimate and comfortable, The Gardens at Warwick Forest was one of the first centers in the area to provide Medicare skilled services.
Located in Newport News, the 209-bed facility provides Nursing Long-Term Skilled Care, Memory Support, and Rehabilitation Care.
Accommodations throughout the Center include tastefully furnished private and semi-private rooms, courtyards, lounges, dining areas, and a beauty shop.

Experience:
3 years of progressive management experience in the area of medical/surgical nursing preferably in Long Term Care or CCRC.
Demonstrated ability in Charge Nurse role (2 years) required.
Certification:
Licensed or eligible by the State of Virginia as an RN Call 844- - or Apply Online Today!.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
